Abu Dhabi Festival 2022’s identity is inspired by all the different intersections the festival has created and keeps creating through the years between art, artists, cultures, practices and audiences.
This is visually interpreted through bespoke lettering where all the different parts of the letters overlap and intersect to create new meaning. The result also mimics Abu Dhabi’s rich heritage of palm fronds weaving and interlacing to create new arabesque forms.
